When you think of the fusion of smooth jazz and soul stirring gospel music TranzJazz will come to mind.
TranzJazz is aimed at transforming the smooth jazz sound for the glory of God in the service of others. The group originally started in the mid-1980's with a unique style of music that has since appealed to people across generations both inside and outside the church. Today, five members make up TranzJazz all reside in the New York area. Together with some inspired songwriting, the encouragement of established music artists, and remarkable "coincidences" prompted TranzJazz to pursue recording a complete CD. Members of the group see the beauty of music as a gift from God. TranzJazz desires that its music be used by its Rightful Owner as a gift of love to others.
