The Eli Story is a pop-rock trio from Chicago, Illinois. Their respect for collaboration, love for melodic songwriting, and utter lack of dignity make for a quirky rock formula that embodies their mission to always take their music seriously but never themselves.

Each member brings to the table diverse influences and backgrounds resulting in a sound fueled with energy, drive, and catchy hooks. Every song tells a story that is permeated with emotion and painted with powerful lyrics that can evoke laughter with one line and break a heart with the next. Through the music, these three ordinary guys, drummer, lead vocalist and lyricist, Eddie Paul, guitarist/keyboardist, Michael Gouwens, and bassist/guitarist, Dylan Lower, strive to move their listeners by sharing musically the extraordinary truth in their own lives.

Since the spring of 2006, this pop rock trio has been delivering an energetic live stage show filled with musical balance, tight harmonies, and a little sarcastic gloss for good measure. The Eli Story just released their first self-titled E.P on January 31, 2009.
