Just in time to close out the year of 2008, Encompass is bringing a new album to the market. The work is titled "The power of Jazz". Much as the title promises, the album combines various powerful styles of jazz such as smooth jazz and Latin jazz, but also other elements such as Blues and rock. This Smooth jazz is a variation of new adult contemporary music and utilizes instruments and, at times, improvisation traditionally associated with jazz and stylistic influences drawn from mostly R&B, but also funk and pop. Encompass's flavor of Latin jazz combines rhythms from African and Latin American countries with jazz and classical harmonies from Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States.
