"Echoes of Joseph Canyon" is a blend of traditional and contemporary Native American music, performed on hand made flutes and drums created by Roger McGee. The haunting melodies on this CD were inspired by the majestic beauty of the Wallowa Mountain region of Eastern Oregon, home of Chief Joseph. Each Native American Flute created at Wind Dancer Studios is custom crafted one at a time using only hand tools to shape the wood. Finger and tuning holes are burned into the wood by using a hot metal rod. From the type of wood to the style of carving, and decorating a flute can be specially designed to visually express the soul of your music. McGee works with inlaid shells, buffalo teeth, carved totems, feathers, beads, paint, or the material that most inspires you. Close your eyes and enjoy a trip back to Joseph Canyon......Blessings
