Born in Houston, Texas as Tramon D Evans grew up in the trenchs of mo city. T-ray attended willowridge high school where he met rap artists Z-ro and Bud-E-Roe. In 97, prior to the first guerilla maab release T-Ray was convicted of aggravated assault an had to serve a five year sentence. while incarcerated, T-ray pressed on perfecting his writing and performance skills. unlike most Texas rappers, T-ray does not have the man i'm gone come down and screens gone fall syndrome. this is just on reason why t-rays lyrics are unlike no other. T-ray continues to make heart felt lyrics (ie.mama told me) like "moma look what they did to me I never acted like this in the free...now my mind capacity is similar to a savage beast because i flip before the count of three." In the song "Survive" T-Ray explodes again with "my ace boon doing a bid...don't worry bout your daughter i gone treat my neice like she one of my kids..."
