Haagsche Hofmuzieck (Court Music of The Hague) was formed as an ensemble in 2005 while the members were studying together at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag, Netherlands. They have performed throughout the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and the United States. In the fall of 2007, they gave a âFringeâ concert at the Utrecht Early Music Festival. In addition to their performing, they have given lectures at both the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, and the University of Texas at Austin. In 2007 the ensemble was a finalist in the Telemann Competition in Magdeburg, Germany. In their repertoire the ensemble pursues the new and exciting sides to well-known pieces as well as those less-known. In their development as an ensemble they have collaborated with Chris Farr, Wilbert Hazelzet, Peter van Heyghen, Karl Kaiser, Jaques Ogg, Michael Schneider, Fabio Bonizzoni and Jaap ter Linden.

Daja Leevke Hinrichs studied modern flute with Mirjam Nastasi at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg (State Conservatory), traverso with Karl Kaiser in Frankfurt and with Wilbert Hazelzet at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. She has performed in master classes with Barthold Kuijken, Kate Clark and Laurence Dean. Daja Leevke performs concerts on the renaissance, baroque, classical and romantic traversi. She has played in several orchestras including the Mannheimer Hofcapelle, the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest 19th Century Orchestra (Netherlands) and Jeune Orchestra Atlantique (Saintes, France). Besides her musical career, Daja Leevke Hinrichs studied modern German literature and German linguistics at the Albert Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and also worked as dramatic advisor and journalist.

Mark Dupere (baroque cello) currently resides in the Netherlands . A former student of Thomas Landschoot and Phyllis Young, he studied at Arizona State University and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin before taking lessons with Jaap ter Linden at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Mark took part in a number of significant initiatives for young musicians during his studies; he was a 'New Young Artist' at the Victoria Bach Festival and was a participant in the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment/Ann & Peter Law Scheme for Young Players in London . He has worked with conductors Ton Koopman, Neeme Järvi, Robert Levin and Mark Wigglesworth in various European and American ensembles: The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Anima Eterna, La Jeune Orchestre Atlantique, St. Cecilia Baroque Orchestra and the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest van de 19e Eeuw. In addition to his interest in orchestral repertoire, Mark is an ardent chamber musician. His group 'Haagsche Hofmuzieck' has appeared in a number of international festivals and concert venues and this is its debut recording.

Marcin ÅwiÄtkiewicz graduated with honours from the Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland in the harpsichord class of Marek Toporowski and composition class of WiesÅaw CienciaÅa. As soloist and continuo player he has played concerts in USA and in most European countries. Currently, he studies harpsichord with Jacques Ogg and composition with Calliope Tsoupaki and Cornelis de Bondt at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. Marcin has participated in master classes throughout Europe and Canada including those taught by Chrisophe Rousset, Robert Hill, Aline Zylberajch, WÅadyslaw KÅosiewicz, Menno van Delft, Peter van Heyghen and Andreas Spering. He collaborates with a Chamber Group of the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Parnassos Ensemble, the Aukso Orchestra, The Scroll Ensemble and St. Cecilia Baroque Orchestra. In 2008 Marcin recorded CD "Musikalisches Vielerley" with German harpsichord music published by Polish Radio Katowice. He was awarded with important grants including: âHuygensâ Scholarship, Polish Ministry of Culture scholarship "Mloda Polska", Silesian Voivodeship Scholarship.
