We could see the pregnant future and drank to our loosening legs. We could youtheneyes our impulses and telekinized the seedling smokes hovering above our homes. We could architect monuments to melt back into their molten beginnings. After all, we vibrated a circle which revealed itself.

UnKindness Of Ravens (UKOR) is an ensemble of varying numbers, currently eleven people. UKOR recordings include the sounds of many individually-crafted and unique instruments, some recurring on different albums, some not; recordings also include traditional instruments and modern devices but no material sampled from non-band created sources. We frequently hear collage, yes--where the pieced placement of others' works form new wonders; but collage often lacks the earthy, human passion so adeptly communicated in music. UKOR's musical scribble respires surprise, excitement, melancholy, and ambiance for our space. We tune to that space--we provoke it in a communion of sound, founded in the moment of improvisation.
