The brain child of Eric Yoder who has engineered artists such as R Kelly and Smashing Pumpkins, and Steve Schnall who has played horns for such legendary performers as Aretha Franklin and The Temptations, URBAN FUNK ORDINANCE has been lighting up venues with their eclectic funk sound and dynamic love shows for the past eight years. The backbone of the band consists of DJ E, Chicago's premier turntablist, and Joe Williams, whose middle name is groove. With the addition of Mike Winchell, one of the most sought after guitarmen in the Midwest, the URBAN FUNK ORDINANCE is unstoppable. With the help from many local and regional booking agents and sponsorships from Jagermeister and Miller Beer, they have been rocking fans in over 14 states and more than 250 shows in the past two years.
