The Melbourne, Florida based band, Just Blue is Melissa Barelmann (Vocals) & Chad Fagg (Guitars, Vocals). Drawn together by a love of simple songs that come from personal places. They started playing together in February of 2006, playing cover songs in local coffeehouses but always wanted more. They needed to write, and write they did. Composing over 20 songs in a few months and then starting to record right away to capture that essence and soul of their fledgling creations. The result is the 13 songs you have here on Below The Damage.

Combining Melissa's soothing Natalie Merchant-esque vocals over the tapestry of Chad's acoustic guitar proved to be a match made in.. well, someplace.

Besides singing in karaoke bars and her car with the top down, this is Melissa's first foray into writing and performing her own music.

Chad comes from a long line of rock and metal bands to find his true home, sitting behind an acoustic guitar.
