Born in the streets and garages of The Bronx,New York,Thunder Road has been together over 20 years.
With regional hits reaching back to the late 70s,this back has plenty of hard miles on it and plenty more to go.
They have performed with or opened for the following:
Peter Tork of The Monkees,Vince Martell of Vanilla Fudge,Tuff Darts!,Robbie Dupree,Blue Oyster Cult,Marshall Crenshaw,Glen Burtnik (of STYX),Lou Gramm (of Foreginer),The Charlie Daniels Band,Mountain,Larry Hoppen & Lance Hoppen (of ORLEANS),Richie Havens,The Shadows Of Knight and many others.
From the Creedence like opener("13 Bones")to the X-Files mystery of "Images From Earth",this album hosts 13 differnet sounding tracks.
Each one takes you to a different space and a different place.
The band includes Pat Horgan (Guitar/Vocals),Michael "Mac" McNenney (Bass/Vocals) ,Silvio Ennella (Drums)
,Peter Dama (Guitar/Vocals),
Tom Tully (Vocals/Percussion),Tommy Bia (Lead Guitar) and John Burke (Keyboards/Vocals).
This album took 2 1/2 years to complete!
It's a follow-up to their best selling previous CD "Find Your Way Back"(released 2002)
Both are released thru Squeezebox Records.
They also appear on several anthologies relased on Collectables Records including "Garage Band Halloween"
"Garage Band Christmas" (vol 1 & 2)and "Garage Band Showcase" (vol 1 , 2 & 3 )
Colletables will release a "Best Of" collection in Spring 2009
