Susi Varming now lives in Stavanger, Norway, but was born and raised in Longyearbyen, Spitzbergen, Svalbard, the worlds north most community. She started playing the guitar as a child, and at the age of 12 she made her first public performance at the local community house in her home town. She has traveled around the world, speaks five languages fluently, is a Computer scientist and takes strong interest in a number of water-, winter and mountain sports.

She performs in Norway and internationally, either solo with her guitar, or with her exceptional band of female musicians (basist, drummer and guitarist).
