He was the lead singer of a gospel group in High School. He then went to sing bass for another local group, which shows his vocal range. After High School, he went directly into the Military......which is where he seem to uncover his true talent. He began to broaden his view of music. Var went from singer to songwriter and producer in a matter of 2 years.
