Growing up in what is known as one of the most DANGEROUS cities in the United States, Chaz Logan was fortunate enough to have music as an outlet. Ironically, Detroit (MOTOWN) is also historically known for its musical SAVVY. Being blessed with a grandmother that actually worked for Motown Records, Chaz was raised in a household that appreciated music.
Although being a PHENOMENAL athlete in high school, Chaz always kept an undying PASSION for music. Free styling and battle rapping against his teammates became a favorite pastime. When it comes to SWAG, Chaz has a charismatic presence on and off the mic. With his smooth voice and unmistakable charm Chaz could be known as the Billy Dee Williams of hip hop.
Using a combination of metaphors and âREWIND THAT BACKâ punch lines, Chaz has developed a VERSATILE style that is best described as eclectic. Being influenced by artists ranging from Andre 3000 to Rakim, Chaz writes about it all from everyday life to billboard CLUB BANGERS. Refusing to conform, Chaz believes in writing music for his audience while still being true to himself.
In 2005, Chaz decided to drop out of college to pursue his music career. This led him to living in a music studio with a group of other young and talented musicians. With a feeling of âNOTHING TO LOSEâ and being surrounded by hungry artist such as: Bad Lucc, Nomiz and THX, Chaz began to eat, think and sleep music.
In 2007, while working at â24 hour Fitnessâ Chaz was discovered by Casey Touchstone. Shortly after, together they started the record label âEKLEKTIC ENT.â
In 2008, Chaz was a VICTIM of a motorcycle accident which left him with a punctured lung and nearly being paralyzed. After surviving this near death experience, Chaz takes nothing for granted and knows that he is destined for GREATNESS.
Currently, Chaz is making his dream a reality by having his music heard by MILLIONS of people and getting incredible feedback. Chaz is now known as one of the hottest up and coming artist in Los Angeles. With a mixture of hard work and natural talent, Chaz has found the recipe to SUCCESS.
