Imagine if you took some of the best Rock Bands of our history and rolled them up into something new. The result would be a sound so familiar, yet so distinct, a paradox in a sense. That's what Vertigo Haze's original songs are all about. They have taken their roots in Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Progressive Rock, Blues, and Reggae and fused them together into a sound we know and love.

Formed in 1997 by Lead Guitarist and Lead Vocalist, Shawn Mitchell, Vertigo Haze has shared the stage with many of the U.S.'s top regional acts, as well as Rock Legends Badfinger. The band's original songs have proved their worth already in the past with rough demos of "Track Of Time", "Gypsy Kiss", "Easier To Leave", "Walls Of Love", "The Power Of Hate", and "Been And Gone" residing in the top 10 on the now defunct MP3.COM. Their newly released CD, "Naked Eyes", features those 7 chart topping songs, as well as 8 other soon to be "timeless" classics.

Vertigo Haze is Shawn Mitchell (Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals), Rick Taormino (Drums, Percussion and Vocals), Rich Hess (Bass and Vocals), and Marcos Torres (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals). The "magical" combination of these four talented people creates a musical experience that is very rare in the present day.
