Jeff Vogelgesang, who currently performs with songwriter Jan Smith (visit Jan's website at honeybirdmusic.com) and the traditional bluegrass band the Virginia Ramblers (visit us at virginiaramblers.com) comes from Columbus, Ohio, where he played with a number of bluegrass groups, including bass player Ed Ferris's band Northwest Territory. Since moving to Virginia in the early 1990s, he played with the Virginia Cutups, a traditional bluegrass band that has performed on stages from National Public Radio's "Prairie Home Companion" to northern California's Grass Valley Bluegrass Festival and many other festivals in Virginia and nearby states.
Jeff has written several instrumentals, including "On the Lam," featured on a CD compilation produced by Co-Mando.com in addition to this album.
