Praise the Lord! If you have come to this page, it is not by accident nor by coincidence, God has a word for you! Now, if you were to go to court on multiple charges and have 2 prior felony's what would happen? Your standing before the judge and he has all of the evidence he needs to put you away for life. He presents the evidence to you, puts forward your charges, then asks you, "What do you have to say for yourself?" What would you say? Or better yet, what could you say? There is nothing really to say but, "Yes, I am guilty". Now, the judge is getting ready to throw the book at you and lock you up forever! But wait, the D/A comes over to you and whispers in your ear, "We are willing to drop all of your charges. As a matter a fact some one else was willing to pay the consequence for your crimes." So you think to yourself, "Who would do such a thing?" Then the D/A says, "You could leave here today with all of your charges dropped and a clean record, a free man, on one condition..." Now you would probably be saying, "What, what is it! I'll do anything! Tell me what I have to do!" Then the D/A says, "YOU MUST LIVE FOR THE ONE WHO WAS WILLING TO SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES FOR YOUR CRIMES." In the same way as the story above, you're standing before God and you have broken 1 or more of His law's (The 10 Commandments). 1. PUT NOTHING BEFORE ME 2. DO NOT WORSHIP FALSE IDOLS 3. DO NOT USE THE MY NAME IN VAIN 4. HONOR THE SABBATH 5. HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER 6. YOU SHALL NOT KILL 7. YOU SHALL NOT STEAL 8. YOU SHALL NOT LIE 9. YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT AUDULTERY 10. YOU SHALL NOT WANT ANOTHER PERSONS BELONGINGS Now when you're in front of the Lord having broken His law, guilty as charged, what can you say? He is ready to sentence you to a place seperated from Him for eternity. A place were the flames do not stop burning and the teeth do not stop gnashing. God looks down at you and says, "You don't have to be sentenced to this place. I have sacrificed my own blood for these crimes you have committed against me. I sent my Son into the world, He was beaten, bruised, He was spat on, ridiculed, mocked and last He was crucified. I AM HE AND HE IS ME. I am willing to drop all of your charges (wash your sins away) on one condition, live the rest of your life for me."
