While recording Wampeters' Look What's Left in 1993, Mark Doyon wrote some acoustic songs on alienation and forgiveness that celebrated the connections between people. From the anti-nostalgia of "Shot of Halcyon" to the pained intimacy of "Long Distance," they explored the emotional interior.
The title track appeared in a full-band version on Wampeters' 1999 disc, Murder Your Darlings (also available at CD Baby).
Remastered in 2004 for CD and digital downloads, Bloodline is back in print.
