Originally formed as a duo in 1998 by Dan Hutchison (vocals/guitars) and multi-instrumentalist Brian Wiksell, WHY MAKE CLOCKS soon released a 7" EP, "the Transient Swivel".
The groundwork laid by the single eventually led them to work with various line-ups for live performances and recording projects, including the 2002 debut album,
"Fifteen Feet and Twenty Degrees", released by Rubric Records, NYC.
The band has since parted with Rubric, has a completed new album on the way, are working to complete yet another album and EP, and looking for a label to release future recordings.
