Whymsonics, (pronounced "whims-onics"), is the collective term for the complex brain functions of Kevin Whyms, composer, arranger, programmer, engineer and producer.

I am from Dublin in Ireland. I have studied music throughout my whole life and also hold a qualification in Sound Engineering and Music Production. I most recently completed a Jazz Fusion course in Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

This album was recorded in my private studio and all the music is performed by me. There is a healthy mix of Chilled beats, Jazz, Rock, Ambience and Electronics throughout this album. There are wide orchestrated stereo soundscapes providing background for Hammond organs, Rhodes pianos and layers of vintage guitars, not to mention thought provoking lyrics and some vocal wizardry.

This album is the perfect soundtrack for any subconcious thoughts that may be lurking in the back of your mind
