The audio tracks for lessons 145 to 154 of Adam Gussow's groundbreaking series of blues harmonica tutorials at YouTube, in convenient mp3 form. Each lesson is roughly 9-10 minutes long.
Included are: Adam's classroom lecture on Little Walter's "Juke" plus an exploration of how to play the song in first position on an E harp, using overblows; "call/response" videos in which Gussow plays a riff, in time, and you play it by ear immediately afterwards; amping the harp; "Spokey Dokey"; two videos on Sonny Terry's country blues style; and several videos previewing a new jam tracks collection from the Hills Blues Collective.
Also included are several bonus tracks, including Gussow and Dutch harp ace Ben Bouman updating Charlie McCoy's "Stone Fox Chase" as "Stone Fox Breakdown" with a beat-box background; Satan and Adam performing "Big Boss Man" on the streets of Helena, Arkansas in a RAW performance; and Adam and Charlie Hilbert performing Big Walter Horton's "Easy" in Klingenthal, Germany.
An incredible value for only $5!
Easy to burn onto a CD, if you'd like.
