Currently working on their second studio album, Sterns County 17 has played major venues including PBR events (Professional Bull Riders©) in Illinois, North Carolina, Kansas City and Minnesota, as well as the 2008 National PBR Finals in Las Vegas Nevada, and other premier clubs around the United States including the legendary Snorty Horse Saloon in Springfield, MO. Comprised of some the genreâs best musical talent, Sterns County 17 is a group to be reckoned with both on and off the stage. Their high-energy show, heartfelt, ârealâ songs as well as covers deliver genuine entertainment and sonic elements missing from todayâs country music scene and audiences are embracing them accordingly. They deliver their music with a rare energy, style, and accuracy that reverberates the lifestyle and passion of their audience.

Steve Prosser: Lead vocals and Guitar - Founding member Steve Prosser is a songwriter and producer of country music who has been playing professionally for more than 10 years. An in-demand artist, Steve has performed throughout the United States by request and frequently
contributes to other artistâs projects locally and nationally including collaborations with The Mason Dixonâs, Mark Stary and Brian Lumley.

Brian Naughton: Guitars and Vocals - Picking up a guitar at age 7 and playing professionally since age 12, Brian maintains his position as one of the most sought after musicians in Minnesota. In his early teens, Brian shared the stage with numerous blues legends such as
Buddy Guy, Lonnie Brooks, Ronnie Baker Brooks, and studied under the tutelage of guitar legend Lonnie Knight.

Brenda King: Bass â Brenda hails from the Midwest and has been playing the bass guitar since early teens. Brenda has played with the Minnesota Music Award winning âMolly Nova and the Hawk, âBig John Dickerson and Blue Chamberâ and Midwest classic rock legends âCrow.â Other highlights include gigs with Chuck Berry, Cub Coda, Peter Rivera (Rare Earth) and Alex Chilton

Corey Lessard: Drums â Cory has been filling the role as premier drummer and percussionist for over 15 years. Heâs shared the stage with artists such as Big and Rich, Buddy Guy, Jo Dee Messina, The Roots, Joe Cocker, Huey Lewis and the New along with many other national acts. As the drummer for Big John Dickerson and Blue Chamber, he toured the US and Euro pean R&B circuits including multiple television appearances. His talents are also in demand for numerous recording projects.
