originally an umbrella for projects by carl kirkendall,
the zenpool has expanded to include some of the finest
musicians from the 'net scene.
the core members-
last year, the 1st addition came in the form of guitarist
steve hall,of newcastle-upon-tyne england's
"the questionnaires". steve was once in a blues band
("the eastside torpedos")that opened for such luminaries
as ray charles, buddy guy. steve's band was managed
by "the animals" bassist, the legendary chas (jimi hendrix)
chandler.

von babasin joined our ranks as bassist w/ our 1st
full band, progressive rocker "MAJIKER".
von plays bass in jazz/fusion greats, L.A. band,
IOMA "artists of the year" ONOFFON.
von's a 2nd generation bassist, the son
of hollywood jazz great harry babasin of art pepper's
jazz band.

zenpool founder carl kirkendall does the keys, composing,
production,vocal chores from his home studio in seattle.
as solo zenpool,"kirk" went to the top of broadjam,
besonic(germany) mp3.com.au(australia)27 times in diverse genres.
last year, he won the IOMA award for "best producer".
