Former Captain Beefheart guitarist Dean Smith and his
muses far and wide....don't miss this....chk it out.

Dean toured Europe, the U.S. and recorded with Captain Beefheart in 1974.
A DVD surfaced just a few years ago titled "The Old Grey Whistle Test"...it was
an english music T.V. show that featured performances by many world known artists.
U-Tube links to this DVD and other live footage concerts of Captain Beefheart can
be seen by entering "Captain Beefheart" on U-Tube. Many Concert clips circa 1974
are among the videos...don't miss Captain Beefhearts interview with David Letterman.
A number of years followed as Dean returned to home base San Diego, Ca, and played locally with various bands while developing his songwriting. (chk. the site of San Diego based band Private Domain.com )..as one of his associations.
These days Dean writes and records with the band "Rocket Science"....also on CD
Baby...founded by legendary songwriter Jack Tempchin..( Eagles "Peaceful easy
feelin".."Already gone"..and more ). Check out their 1st cd release. Also In recent
years Dean has been playing Bass guitar for well known folk artist Tim Flannery.
Through the winter season..( Tim is also a pro coach for the San Francisco Giants
and a former San Diego Padres player )...Tim plays concerts and records until
