At age of 15 Bruce Zwibel picked up an old Winston guitar and started mimicking songs that he enjoyed listening to. Soon he became proficient enough to pick up songs on the radio. From then on he has never stopped playing. In 1980 he began writing his own songs.
Bruce's musical influence range from traditional blues to rock and roll. Artists such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, Elvis Costello, and Bob Dylan inspired him to write music. Guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai are his true heroes.
"Every song on the album was a labor of love, I don't particularly have a favorite. Achieving my goal of making this CD has been a dream of mine since I started writing. It would be nice if something comes of it but the truth is I believe in it and it is something that can never be taken away from me."
