Description:
Demimonde Slumber Party's unique, catchy songs feature strong female vocals and influences ranging from pop-punk to 60's psychedelic rock.
9 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Psychedelic, POP: Quirky
Details:
"...Demimonde Slumber Party has proven that it's easy to pack upward of four genres into a nine-track album....Green contains songs that range from '60s psychedelic rock to fast, angsty pop punk, with a folk ballad or two thrown in for good measure." - Eugene Weekly
"...the lyrics are profound..." - LCC Torch
Demimonde Slumber Party (DSP) is a female-led trio with powerful vocals, harmonies, and playful, intelligent lyrics. Their many influences include early Bowie and X.
DSP comes out of the 1990's San Francisco scene, but they are now based in Eugene, Oregon. The band, whose members are Melissa Lubofsky (lead vocals, guitar), Kim Lindquist (drums, vocals), and Tim Romain (bass, vocals), has just released their new CD, "Green", and if you're very lucky, you'll catch one of their exciting concerts when they are bringing the Green gospel to your town. You definitely don't want to miss them!
