Having received very cool reviews (see snippets below) - this is the last remaining hard copy for sale of the debut cd from this UK band we know of - So grab it while you can, this release will soon be a rarity.
"The tempo of the music does remind me of the best Slowdive/Mojave 3 moments, although its real strength is in the vibrant space it creates and leaves you drifting in".
"Laid-back grooves and drum loops reminiscent of Portishead accompany smooth vocals that alternately remind me of the Cranes of the Sneaker Pimps -This is an awesome 3-song single" -
"Dreamfield's debut CD "Take Me With You" has not left my CD player in almost 2 weeks now - Music to lose yourself to - Try it and see"
Formed in the london by songwriting partners Poppy Gonzalez (Mojave 3/Si Sen Si/Sing-Sing) & Gregg Mckella (Paradise 9, Jeanette Murphy)& later joined by Amy Tucker (The Whims) - Dreamield no longer perform as a live band.
Active 1999 - 2003, their mixture of 'dub, trip-hop, psychedelia & cheesy latin 60s music' won them critical acclaim and some hardcore fans. Dreamfield music has a 'penchant for long brooding notes of an undefined nature' and specializes in a trippy grooves and 'organic instrument mix' which made for a intoxicating coctail distinctly their own.
