Count Blackula's Halloween Party is a cd with a message, powerful lyrics and melody. It can be really scary if you let yourself be scared.
The very first thought I had when I discovered Halloween was to make a scary, thrilling, movie. But due to finances and time, the idea worked into a sound track. In other words , it was like making the sound track for a movie, without creating the movie. Instead, as I created songs, in my thoughts, each one was a scene in a movie.
For instance, the song, "Tonight is the Night " , would have been the intro to the movie. In this scene, it would be the night before Halloween. Families are decorating their relatives' graves with pumpkins and sweets and candles to prepare them for Halloween. The song "Trick or Treat" has to do with a little spirit girl who finally convinces her strict parents to go trick or treating. And so on.
You know, if this sound track was really in a movie, I don't know how anyone could sit still through it. I believe the audience would want to get up from their seats and dance. I myself listen to this cd, even though it's not Halloween time. And, I'm working on a Halloween video and on another Halloween cd, so keep in touch. HAPPY HALLOWEEN any day. I'm open for comments.
