RICHARD GREIG
Richard Greig is from Innisfail, a small town in Canada and learned to play the guitar at the young age of 9. He was exposed to Rock Music at a young age. The songs on the debut CD, are a reflection of the influences acquired by Richard, that are of the Hard Rock variety mixed with Blues and classic explosive guitar sounds. "He definitely has his own sound. I've listened to people say he sounds like KISS, RATT, Velvet Revolver, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and Big Sugar to name a few. He is probaly the most versatile artist today, he is his own.- Shawn Penner - owner of DJ Nightly."
Richard expresses good vibes and romance in his lyrics with a performance driven attitude. Many say that Rock Music lacks spiritual content. That is not the case here. Listen to 'Send me an Angel' and 'Angels like You' for a spiritual music experience. The feel good songs 'Dance for Me', 'Drop 'D' Blues', 'Something About Me', 'Whats Yours is Mine' and 'Electrify' have a fun romantic twist that keeps you grooving. Burning Sky is an awesome number that tells a story of an old college friend that had a serious drug problem. The classic sounding 'Running With Nowhere to Hide' tells a story of a man running from the law and rips at the listeners heart with it's romanticism.
With everything in check and the debut CD promotion in high gear, Richard is already working on the second album. Destined to create a Rock Music trend, expect more great things to come from Richard Greig.
