An adventurous blend of psychadelic, experimental, and headache-inducing rock that will make you forget where you put your house keys.
20 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, ROCK: Progressive Rock
Details:
hitoast - (pronounced hi-toast), has been banging around since 1993. Formed from a trio that met at a keg in Worcester, MA - hitoast began as a party band and like true non-conformists they basically stayed a party band. The original trio of Russell Addison, Rob Zawadzkas and Paco Garcia soon grew to five as they added Frank John and Vic Taylor - former band members of Zawadzkas'. If nothing much became of their rare performances across New England and New York, they did manage to record a lot of songs - powerful songs. Many close to hitoast often wondered how long the band would last and the band motto has become "hitoast is dead, long live hitoast!".
Happy Hour is a compilation of some of the bands favorite songs written between 1994 and 2000. Many were originally scheduled for the unreleased Boston Drain album, but only a few made it as far as the HEARING demo (released in 1996.) Happy Hour is reflective of Addison's bouts with depression - and the entire bands' dissonant world view. Under new management, hitoast still lives in the creative veins of its band and is currently working on the release of a second disc scheduled for the Winter of 2004.
