Hollie Brian possesses a clear, versatile voice that handles the simplicity of the Gospel message and the richness of God's grace with ease, as evidenced by her debut project, "Glow."
From the poppy, upbeat "Climb the Mountain," to the country flavored "Closer," on through the beautifully simple "So Many Words," and finally to the praise inducing "So Help Me God," Ms. Brian manages a plethora of easy-listening styles, guaranteeing that most who listen will find something that will speak to their soul.
On the surface her music seems to reflect the seeker emptiness that teases and torments, and humanity's longing for depth. But dig deeper. She equally covers the walk of the believer who has experienced a piece of the vast universe of Christ's grace and mercy. From the valleys to the mountaintops, Hollie Brian offers encouragement to hang on.
The fact that Ms. Brian wrote or co-wrote most of the songs on "Glow" tells me that she shared from her heart. It's a heart worth getting to know.
