Keenan starting writing his electronic compositions over 5 years ago, before goth even was a common name. These songs have been hand picked to represent the gothic/dark genre from all of Keenan's entire list of 75 originals. When he started writing these gothic songs he just likes to play midevil video games like Lord of the Rings, but he turns the sound off!

These songs are the result of what Keenan hears in his head . . . how the video game should sound to him. Many people have asked Keenan to put all of these "dark" songs on one cd, and well, here it is! We call it "gothic" because there really isn't any other way to describe them. I guess you could say it's what you would expect to hear on a horror film.

Some songs are fast, some dance, some space, and some urban down beat, but ALL are definitely dark. The song order was carefully selected so that you can just put the cd in and let it play non-stop for over 65 minutes! The song Renowned is over 9 minutes, and quite remarkably seems to stay on track from beginning to end. We'd just like to warn you though, you might not know where you've been for nine minutes, or for that matter, for 65 minutes.
