Spingere is mostly Will Cruttenden - bassist and vocalist for Oxford bands Soul Beaver and Bridge Street. âPerfetcâ is the following up to the more somber and experimental âCoffee-Housingâ. Which isnât to say âPerfetcâ doesnât have itâs odd moments. The broken up melody line of âThe Dreaded Dâ and the ghostly noises of the title track mark it out as something different from the mainstream. But there are more obvious melodies here and, most significantly a common thread on all the tunes, which is Willâs playing of the Warr Guitar (sometimes known as a Touch Guitar).
Standout tracks include the live soundscape âForest Walkâ and the monsterous closer Harmartia.
