Leon Caraco is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer whose main instrument is guitar. All the compositions, vocal and instrumental passages on "Pathways and Portals" were composed and performed by him on acoustic and electric guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, harmonica and a wide variety of international percussion instruments. The project is artfully crafted with love and inspiration from sentiments of spirituality and mysticism. The music combines influences from traditions of rock, jazz, folk, blues and world-beat fusion of east and west. Listening to "Pathways and Portals" is like taking an enchanting journey. The musical soundscape is unique, spellbinding, eclectic, poetic and full of surprises.
