Jeff Chapman - South Central Illinois vocalist/guitarist has been performing live since 1977, beginning with church & local organization events. Along with brother Jerry, began the Chapman Bros. band in 1981, starting as a country group, adding southern rock into the repertoire through the years and peppering in blues in the early 90's. Jeff fronts this band as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
Jeff's interests leaning more to blues, began a side project in 2004 (Big Jeff & the Smokers) releasing a CD of covers in 2005, spending half his time with each group. Jeff also worked as front man for 2-1/2 years in the Hard Tale Blues band, hosting the Monday night Blues jam in Downtown St. Louis MO's Beale on Broadway. More recently Jeff's own 'Blues Ensemble' continues to please audiences with their regional shows building a growing fan base.
