Lisa L. Jones is a native of the Chicago suburb, Aurora. Lisa was born the "Baby Girl" of four children, to Matthew and Nancy Jones. Even from the time of conception, it was evident that Lisa was DESTINED for Grandeur!

Lisa was born to sing! Her gift for music was prevalent at an age as young as five, Her grammar school music teacher, Mrs. Wilcox, who recognized her unmistakable gift, first acknowledged her outside her home. Lisa was going to sing.

Just like Lisa broke into her parent's life one brisk October day, she broke into the singing arena with a passion. Lisa accepted any opportunity to sing that came her way. She sang at school in the choir, she sang at church, she even sang while at the grocery store. It didn't matter where she went or what the occasion, Lisa was sure to mesmerize her audience with her angelic chords.

Her parents, in an effort to cultivate their daughter's talent, sent her to vocal coaches, but ultimately it was her God given talent that opened many doors for her to share her gift and anointing with the world.

Lisa has spent most of her singing career, being a true blessing to the body of Christ. She started out singing in the Sunshine Band at her local church, Greater Mount Olive COGIC, under the instruction of Ms. Merline Guyton. Her pastor, Bishop William Haven Bonner, following the leading of the Lord, began to call her out to minister to the masses. As she grew older, she began to sing in the church's gospel radio choir. Knowing that her gift was too great to keep in Aurora, her local church began to send her as a representative to the national church conventions all over the United States. She sang in the Church of God in Christ International mass choir under the leadership of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark.

Lisa has shared the stage with such gospel greats as: Donnie McClurkin, Karen Clark Sheard, Kim Burrell, Albertina Walker, Yolanda Adams, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, The Clark Sisters and many others. She can be heard singing background for greats like Kim Stratton, Karen Clark Sheard and Kim Burrell. But as you will soon hear Lisa is certainly not just a background vocal, it is her time to shine.
