This country rock CD contains two songs based on a love of NASCAR racing, a blues, and a song to which young people and their parents may relate readily. Kyle Stewart has been performing and recording music all his life, and is making his country debut here. He sings with great attitude in Ridin' in a Rocket, he's romantic in Back in Bristol, and he's very funny in Runnin' Me Outta Town Blues. He's got a strong, beautifully perfect voice for these songs! Ladies, especially, should really like the voice, and Gentlemen, especially, the stories should be fun for you!
All songs were composed by Nancy Erwin, who has been a big NASCAR fan for a long time. The CD began as a single song, Back in Bristol. During a motorcycle trip more than twenty years ago to Bristol TN and Staunton, VA, a man in a blue shirt waved at Nancy as she rode on the back of a big bike...and eventually, all that became the title track. It really does make sense, when you know the story!
So..load these up, and let Kyle sing for you! It would be especially wonderful to see people dancing to these tunes at their tailgate parties at all those great race tracks! Mainly, just enjoy the music!!
