Loren West plays a unique blend of melodic, guitar driven modern rock. His songs are uplifting, lyrically sophisticated and chock full of hooks, whether he is churning out gritty alternative rock or introspective acoustic pop. His second CD Orange Alert is stylistically varied, ranging from the blistering full frontal assault of American to the wistful acoustic ballad Dear Dad. Loren is a veteran of the New York City club scene and has performed at legendary venues like CBGBS and the Bitter End as a solo artist and with the band Silent Men. Originally a New York native Loren has relocated to Philadelphia PA where he continues to write and record songs for your listening pleasure.
