Details:
Madonna Parsons was born in a small town called Botwood Newfoundland, Canada.
She started singing at a very young age which helped her overcome her shyness.
At the age of 13 she started singing professionally with her brother Bernard Parsons who taught Madonna a great deal musically.
She sang in every nook and corner of Newfoundland but when she left the island and got married she left her career to devote her full time to raising her children.
Coming from a very musical family, Madonna would always be reminded of her love for singing, especially when spending time with her youngest brother Gary, whom she credits with making her first recording possible.
Musically, Madonna has been inspired by female country vocalist Loretta Lynn, Tammy Whynette and Emmylou Harris.
Now that Madonna's children are raised, she is excited about returning to her other love, music, and devoting her time and energy there.
This recording contains eight songs written by Everett Adams and two by her brother Gary.
