Pariah is a hip hop/rock band that formed during December of 2007 at The College of New Jersey. The group consists of rock guitarist Stephen Dadaian and hip hop vocalist Jonathan Peterburs, a.k.a. Jon P. Their eclectic mix of styles is truly "unique and original" as stated by MC Serch (member of 3rd Bass) and Tina Davis (former Senior Vice President Def Jam A&R). Their songs include something for all listeners such as heavy riffs, solos, smooth beats, catchy vocals, and even orchestral arrangements.

The album "Pariatize" is a culmination of one year of intense work putting together a product entirely solo. While the title is a clear pun on the name of the group, it also represents the work ethic that was the foundation behind its creation; that is, prioritizing every task in completing the album that needs to be done. The end result is certainly a high energy and inspiring compilation of music.

The opening track Forgotten Heroes is an anthem to people who, despite their contributions while alive are no longer appreciated for what they previously have done. The instrumental is uplifting and includes media clippings from recent events in history. Closing In, the featured Pariah single for their music video, is about being able to overcome your fears and obstacles no matter how hard they may be.
