A long time musician, Djeigo Balfore (pronounced Jay-go) was born and raised in a small town in southern Utah, he turned to turned to music as a way of release and a way to escape the dulldrums of small town life. Getting his start at an early age, Djeigo's great grandmother decided that one of her grandchildren will have some form of culture in their lives, so she took him under her wing and started teaching him piano.


High school brought many oportunities for Djeigo to use his abilities in music. He joined the Pop Choir group as a freshman and went on to join the Concert Choir for the rest of his high school years. Church and community also kept him busy accompanying, writing and performing at various functions. In 1994, at the age of 17, Djeigo became one of the youngest people to ever play in the world famous Mormon Tabernacle Organ in Salt Lake City where he was to perform with the Utah All-State Choir along with a few other members from his choir class.


After high school, Djeigo, packed his bags and went to Brisbane, Australia. There he met an opera singer and through her Djeigo had the oportunity to perform many times as an accompanist. While in Australia, Djeigo was able to perform as a solo singer for the first time. This is where he got the performing bug.


Upon his arrival back in the United States he performed many times in musical theater's and choir's, rarely ever performing as a solo artist. After a few years Djeigo was recruited to join a record label that was being started in the Salt Lake area as a solo artist. Unfortunately, that was a dream that was not to last. A few other producers and companies approached Djeigo to be on their labels or to perform their material, all to no avail. Finally, he decided to just go out on his own. Now here he is.
