Welcome to "The Medlo's Sonic Picture". This CD is a first in a Series of SongBooks by Dave Medlo (Medlicott).

The whole Idea behind the SongBooks Series is to have pictures behind the words so you can develop your own mindful interpretation of what these songs are about.

These days it's all about music videos. A lot of them make sense, some of them are on some trip in La La Land where you gotta be doped-up to think that you're understanding what they're saying at the time,then,the next day you don't even remember what you viewed.

It's like going to see this hot new band at a club, the next thing you know, you wake up in the bushes the next morning telling yourself," Man that was a good band, if I could only remember HER name and what SHE looked like"!! What happened to the Music and the Message?

Most People are just plain lazy these days, there's no creativity anymore,everything is given to us. Pretty soon our imaginations are put into a dismal stalemate with nowhere to go and Glued to the Tv Set in a mindless state of mush!

The Medlo's "Sonic Pictures" is not about Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll. It's a collection of Short Stories about People,Places and Living in Reality.
