Hellfire was formed in 2005/ 2006 by bassist/ vocalist Dylan Baldwin, guitarist Harry Chriss and drummer Ian Klamp. 'Warnings' was written by bassist/ vocalist Dylan Baldwin after years of being immersed in old-school metal such as Iron Maiden, Iced Earth and early Metallica as well as punk bands like The Casualties and GBH. Due to a lack of an adequate guitarist, 'Warnings' was recorded solely by Dylan Baldwin (who handled guitar, keyboard and sitar duties as well as bass and vocals) and Ian Klamp at DMS Studios in Clarksville, NY. The albums were mixed and mastered by studio veteran Arthur Scott Verner, who has recorded countless albums over his 17 year career. Tracking took approximately 85 hours over the course of 75 weeks, starting June 26th, 2007 and ending November 30th, 2008. 'Warnings' was released February 6th, 2009.

Hellfire, complete with guitarists Cory Tyson and Evan Hare who joined summer 2007, has been playing shows around the upstate NY area since early 2008. Since the release of 'Warnings', drummer Ian Klamp quit for personal reasons, but Hellfire seeks to continue playing and recording with a new drummer.
