NNMaddox is an indie rock icon, formerly of the acoustic metal group The Abandoned Nutsack. After releasing 3 albums and one EP with the band, Maddox unleashes Long Island Baby on the world.

Maddox combines elements of pop, rock, funk, spoken word, grunge, metal and blues on this opus. This unique fusion presents a sonic masterpiece reminiscent of The Velvet Underground or early day Pink Floyd. You'll get poetry, love songs, straight-forward rock n roll, anger, bitterness, happiness, and compassion with Maddox's music.

Born and raised in Louisiana, the influence of jazz and blues shows through in tracks such as "Crushed Rosemary" and "Almost Home". A heavy rock and pop influence is evident in Maddox's songs, while oddly maintaining an indie sound.

Now based in New York City, the songs of Long Island Baby read as a bible to any person (young and old) that knows a thing or two about struggle, loss, or most importantly, the glory of love.
