Madeline Kole - Vocalist
Jazz vocalist and freelance jazz bassist performing throughout the N.Y.C. area since 1976. Her vast vocal repertoire and her precise and poignant execution renders her a âsinger supremeâ. As a solo vocalist she appears at all the major hotels in NYC. as well as resort areas throughout the U.S. Also, a featured artist on the Q.E.II world cruise 1995; and was a frequent guest vocalist at SONNY'S PLACE, jazz club in Seaford, L.I.
Currently working with Jerry Kravat Orchestras, Peter Duchin, Lester Lanin, and Roy Gerson, to mention a few.
Recording credits include; PAINTER OF DREAMS, A LONG WAY TO GO, KOLE SINGS COLE (the music of Cole Porter), and her current CD - DONCHAâ GO AWAY MAD. These recordings have received rave revues in DOWNBEAT, JAZZ TIMES, and MODERN VOCALIST magazines.
Ms. Kole has appeared and performed with the following artists;
Bobby Short, George Benson, Robert Klein, Pat Cooper, the Modernaires, Julie Budd, Bobby Rydell, George Burns, Tony Babino, Ann Hampton Calloway, Nancy La Mott and John Pizzarelli.
Ms Koleâs work can be heard on radio and television stations throughout the country as well as the Europeon market. She is currently being heard on the Dove Soap commercial of âIâm Forever Blowing Bubllesâ as both a bassist and background vocalist.
