SimplyMEPIS functions well in VirtualBox and this virtual disk image comes complete with VBoxGuestAdditions installed and functioning perfectly.
SimplyMEPIS is a wonderful operating system. The designers have taken the time to produce one of the finest distributions of linux available today. With a long history of releasing a stable system, this Version 8.0.06 once again proves their ability.

To support US Government deployment of DNSsec and IPv6, MEPIS 8.0 includes BIND 0.9.6 and IPv6 is enabled out of the box. Virtualization is easily supported by downloading KVM 84 and libvirt 0.6.0 from the MEPIS 8.0 package pool.
