political songs promoting peace with a "support our troops, but fear our government" theme.
8 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Political, EASY LISTENING: Soft Rock
Details:
I am a singer/songwriter who has been more than moved by our governments disingenuous leadership. reminissent of the viet nam era, my music resembles the '60's outcry for peace and justice; both lyrics and music reflect my love for humanity, mother earth and our country. growing up in a small town in western michigan has shaped the style of my music in the sense that I believe I express the "average" persons feeling, thoughts and ideas. Even though the 'war' in Iraq is supposed to be over, we know more soldiers have died since declaring the war over than during the conflict. Whether you believe in the current administration or not, we are all;I repeat all! supportive of our troops. We are all collectively responsible and cannot blame any one in particular. We all must now pray for the troops and their families and hope we can learn and grow as a Nation. So march, sing, speak out, write music, JUST DO SOMETHNG! I salute Colby O'donis for donating his time and talent into a compilation CD that pays tribute to the victims of 9-11; money from it will go to the victims fund. He has done something!
Peace,
Rhonda Walsh
