LAX is a Hip-Hop artist, producer, and writer. He was born and raised in South Central, Los Angeles, California. Born into a musical family, it was only a matter of time before he would follow the family tradition. His father is a former paralegal/contract manager for Motown Records, and is now the singer and lead guitarist for a local smooth jazz band. His mother is a former singer for A&M Records, and now sings Christian gospel for her current church. LAX found his love for music in the youthful movement of Hip-Hop. LAX became involved in the music industry, professionally, since 2000, and started a record company called Sixela, Inc. In 2001, he produced the album, Humble Beginnings, for his brother, G-Quest. He then released his own album in 2002, called "From Scratch", which remains a Hip-Hop best seller on CDBaby. In 2003, G-Quest released another album, For Better or Worst, that LAX also produced. LAX has songs placed in various television shows such as Cold Case, The Bernie Mac Show, Itâs Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Miss Match. He also had a song placed in the movie, Getting Played, featuring Vivica A. Fox, Bill Bellamy, Carmen Electra, and Stacey Dash. His music has been heard in such countries as Argentina, Austria, Canada, Italy, and Japan, to name a few. LAX has performed at various venues throughout California during his time with Sixela, Inc. to include Club Lingerie in Hollywood, Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, and many other places in the Los Angeles area. LAX parted from Sixela, Inc. in 2003, due to creative differences, and is now the CEO of Zillion Music Group. LAX is ready to expose his brand of Hip-Hop to the masses and make Zillion Music Group a household name. With just one listen, you will see why LAX is destined for greatness.
