Hailing from the beautiful âNature Islandâ of Dominica, brothers Garner and Peter migrated to the United States during the mid 1970âs and became members of different bands. They then decided to combine talents and created their own unique sound with the Fingees. The band began work on their debut album "What Kind of Life is this?" in 2000. The album was released in 2002 and consisted of 12 songs that were spiritually and emotionally charged. The Fingees experienced overwhelming success and soon began working on their next album. The second album âIn Times Like Theseâ is music that everyone can relate to and expresses the times that we are living in. It is assured that their second album will once again leave fans and Reggae music lovers everywhere satisfied and craving more.
