The JRB Connection,British stylised influences of jazz Rock and Blues following the same path as previous British Artists from the 1960s to the present day. These songs are Biographical, taken from a previous visit to the Southern States in the 1990;s. Recording this cd when the time felt right, came from influences of a dark time.
I started out to write my lyrics into a Blues style and have come up with a fine mix of ingredients, giving birth to my own Blues
It,s more effective to live out a personal experience by getting a better feel of writing and recording these songs, a bit like an actor who becomes a particular personality to a better effect in expressing a story through song..Or like an entity trying to influence you through what ever means it tries, mainly through alchohol,only and hopefully to shake it off afterwords.
