Since the release of Sierra's CD "Heaven's Calling", this singer/songwriter/performer debuted at the "House of Blues" in Los Angeles, CA on he same bill with "Heart". Sierra was such an overwhelming success that night that she was asked back for her own show four months later. That evening The Los Angeles "Music Connection Magazine" came to review the show and called it a departure from the traditional rock themes of anguish and fury. She puts across a positive message. Sierra Jones music has originality that truly makes it's mark. As a perfromer she is magnetic with a real presence. This attractive frontwomen has an aggresssive strut and a strong communication with the audience that keeps the energetic set flowing and the audience glued. Sierra works the entire stage as she emits a brand of female rock scarcely seen in an era where coffeehouse pop is more the trend among female performers. Sierra Jones puts a distintive stamp from a familiar rock and roll postcard from the edge.
She then Headlined at BB Kings Blues Club in Universal City,Ca. Several cuts from the album were played on legendary rock station 95.5 KLOS-FM in Los Angeles. She was also live on the local radio station 1230am with five songs off the album. Also the same station plyed tracks off the album to promote her shows in Los Angeles.
Two tracks from Sierra's CD "Alabama Baby" and the title track "Heaven's Calling were in regular rotation on a Fox affiliate morning Television show in Omaha, Nebraska. Then her music branched out to Missouri where KUMR a 100,000 watt station put "Heaven's Calling in regular rotation. Many radio stations throughout the country primarily the Mid-West have featured Sierra on their new music shows.
Today Sierra's music is heard on many Christian stations throughout the US with tracks such as "Save My Soul" and "Heaven's Calling"
Over the World wide Wed Alta Vista had translated "Heaven's Calling" in ten languages, which indicates a European Fan Base. Sierra still gets mail from places like Hungary.
